Fabrication

At Fortis Industrial Solutions, we take pride in our team of highly skilled stainless steel welders and fabricators, specializing in sanitary process equipment for the most demanding industries — including food, dairy, pharmaceutical, and biotechnology.

Our fabrication team is trained and certified to perform high-purity welding techniques that ensure the integrity, durability, and cleanliness of all fabricated components. We work primarily with 304, 316, and 316L stainless steel, as well as select high-performance alloys, always maintaining surface finishes in line with ASME BPE, 3-A Sanitary, and cGMP standards.

Welding Techniques We Offer

  • Orbital Welding: Computer-controlled and repeatable welds ideal for pharmaceutical and biotech-grade piping systems. Guarantees smooth, crevice-free joints and minimal contamination risk.
  • Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG/GTAW) Welding: Industry-standard for high-quality, clean stainless steel welds. Ideal for sanitary tanks, vessels, and precision parts.
  • Metal Inert Gas (MIG) Welding: Fast and effective for structural components and support systems where clean joints are essential but not in direct contact with the product.
  • Flux Core Arc Welding (FCAW): Suitable for heavier sections and structural fabrication where deeper weld penetration is required.

Certifications & Compliance

  • All welders certified under ASME Section IX for pressure and process piping weld procedures.
  • Weld maps, WPS (Welding Procedure Specifications), and PQRs (Procedure Qualification Records) are maintained for all coded jobs.
  • Strict quality control and documentation protocols ensuring traceability and compliance with national and international standards.

Quality Assurance

  • Visual Weld Inspection (VT)
  • Dye Penetrant Testing (PT)
  • Weld Logs & Documentation
  • Internal & External Surface Finish Verification (RA Meter)

Whether it’s orbital welding for ultra-clean piping systems or heavy structural welds for support frames, Fortis Fabrication ensures every joint is strong, smooth, and sanitary — because the quality of your process starts with the quality of our weld.
